How to Keep Your Children Active This Summer

There are few things in life that children look more forward to than summer vacation.  Not only can they enjoy warm weather, swimming pools and a late sunset; they also no longer need to fret about homework assignments and report cards.  However, one of the challenges that parents face over summer is keeping their child both physically and mentally active.  Spending time outdoors can quickly turn into sitting on the couch and watching television for extended period of times, and books are often replace with PlayStation controllers during school’s off-season.

Fortunately, there is a way for parents to keep their children busy in an educational, yet entertaining fashion.  Watch Me Grow Daycare Center offers an enriching summer camp program for children between the ages of 5-12.  The camp provides children with many social and educational opportunities.  They have a chance to meet and hang out daily with new friends and will have exciting new things to do each and every day.  One day the children’s schedule may involve arts and crafts and science experiments, while a different day that week may entail a field trip to a memorable destination, such as the Niagara Falls Aquarium or Becker Farms.  We even have many cool visitors come to our site, and either perform a unique show for our campers, or setup an interesting station, such as an aquarium touch tank.

Perhaps best of all for parents, we offer flexible scheduling for our summer camps.  This allows parents the opportunity to still spend time with their children when they are not working, and doesn’t complicate any previously planned family vacations.
